Our work in the Education Fire Protection sector.

Since the year 2000, when Armstrong Priestley undertook its’ first school fire protection project, this sector has seen an unprecedented focus on active fire prevention to combat the problems of arson, which blights this sector.

We have been engaged on numerous projects working for main contractors such as: Willmott Dixon, Bam Construction, Morgan Sindall & Kier Construction.

In addition we have worked closely with local authorities to help develop a fire sprinkler strategy for the protection of buildings within their portfolio, such as: Leeds City Council, Sheffield Council, Rotherham Council, Cleveland Council.

In the majority of cases sprinkler contracts have been let through the M&E market which has introduced high levels of coordination, many projects now being undertaken in BIM 3D modelling.
